My name is Nikola Đurinec. I currently live in Zagreb, Croatia. I have been working with Unity engine for over a decade now. I am also the co-owner of Binx Games, a small indie game development studio I helped establish. Lately, most of my work has been through the studio-managing projects and collaborating closely with contractors and partners.
Send me an email if you would like to see my CV, talk business or have another good reason to.
Here are a few highlights of my expertise:
- C# Excellence - I focus on writing code that is not just functional, but clean, efficient, and easy to maintain. Good code should be readable and reliable.
- Multiplayer Development - Builing solid multiplayer systems that keep gameplay smooth and synced across networks.
- ECS, Jobs & Burst - High performance matters, and I lean into Unity's ECS, Jobs, and Burst to create systems that are both scalable and lightning fast.
- UI Implementation- Creating UIs that feel smooth, look great, and make interacting with a game effortless.
- Game Optimization - I love the challenge of fine-tuning a game to run better. Whether it is reducing load times, boosting frame rates, or trimming memory usage, I am all in.
- Editor Tools - I create tools that speed up development and remove headaches. If something is repetitive, I want to automate it, and make it easy for the team to use.
- CI/CD Pipelines - Streamlining development with automated builds and deployments, making iteration faster and smoother.
On a more personal note, I enjoy programming, reverse engineering and remaking old games. Outside of the screen, I like riding a bike, getting lost in music, and strumming the guitar (badly, but with heart).
